Frequently Asked Questions
Curious about classes or retreats?
Start with the FAQs below, and feel free to message us if something isn’t covered.

Q: I've never done yoga before. Can I still come?
A: Yes! Many of our students are brand new to yoga. Our instructors guide you step-by-step, offer modifications, and encourage you to move at your own pace.

Q: What should I wear?
A: Wear comfortable, breathable clothing that you can move in — leggings, shorts, or joggers with a fitted top work well. Avoid anything too loose or heavy. Bring water to stay hydrated!

Q: Do I need to bring a yoga mat?
A: If you have one, bring it! If not, we have mats available to rent or purchase at the studio.

Q: Do I need to be flexible or "in shape" to start?
A: Nope! Yoga meets you exactly where you are. Strength, flexibility, and confidence all build naturally with practice.
Q: What type of classes are best for beginners?
A: Our Beginner / Slow Flow and Yin classes are wonderful starting points. If you’d like help selecting the right class, just ask — we love offering personal recommendations.

Q: Do you offer heated classes?
A: Yes — some of our classes are gently heated with infrared heat, which warms the body from the inside out (more soft warmth than “hot yoga studio” heat). If you’re new, you can always start in a non-heated or lower-heat class until you’re comfortable.

Q: How early should I arrive?
A: Please arrive 10 minutes before class to settle in, set up your space, and chat with your instructor if needed.

Q: Can I take breaks during class?
A: Absolutely. Resting is part of the practice. You can pause anytime in child’s pose or simply sit and breathe.
